A Gift for You! A Pocket Parenting Guide

December 13, 2012 | By | Reply More

This Christmas, I would like to offer all CfP readers a gift – a small token to say thank you. Thank you for reading and thank you for caring enough about your role as a Christian parent to seek out solutions, insights and information that will help you lead your children in the ways of the Lord. My prayer is that God uses what you read here to minister to you and your family for His glory.

So as a thank you, I have a present for you:  A Pocket Parenting Guide. You can print this double-sided post-card sized “cheat sheet” to keep in your purse or bag. If you are so inclined, you can laminate it for longevity sake. Two cards will come from one 8×11 sheet, so feel free to share with a friend or relative

On the front of the card, you will find a compilation of the tenets to my approach to Christian parenting. It is not an all-inclusive list (that would require a much larger piece of paper!), but it contains both reactive and proactive strategies. The list on the left is largely aimed at assisting you when you are faced with a difficult situation. The list on the right contains things that you can do daily that will keep God at the center of your family life and your interactions with your children. The back has some encouraging Bible verses to help center you in times of difficulty. Spaces are intentionally left open for you to add verses that are important to you.
